Converse teamed up with 5 artists for a special custom campaign inspired by the lockdown in Africa!
The campaign included Sindiso Nyoni, Nardstar, Falko1 ,Fhatuwani Mukheli, and David Tshabalala, who all gave their own twist to the iconic Chuck Taylor by visually depicting the African experience of COVID-19 on the classic silhouette.
Proudly South African, the release was extremely limited to only 75 pairs of each design in existence - available via In the efforts of giving back to an establishment that has been affected by the pandemic, Converse also selected the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund in which all proceeds will go to following the sale of all sneakers.
